Goblin Hunter

Play the role of a Goblin Hunter who is hired by the mayor of a town to find and rescue some of the townsfolk who were believed to be kidnapped by the goblins.

As you delve deeper into their lair, you will discover that there's a much sinister plot set in motion than you and the townspeople can ever fathom.

Controls: 

WASD for movement

Developer's Note:

This is still a work in progress. I couldn't add most of the content i wanted to add to the game within the time limit of the jam. I almost completed the cave level but there would be more enemies, another cutscene and an encounter, mechanics like laying traps and a second level. I wanted to add a subterrenan temple level where you will discover that the goblins are controlled by an otherworldly entity. 

There is a working inventory system in the game but inventory lacks items in current build due to a bug in the code.

The reasons  i couldn't finish the game are:
A: I worked solo on this project.

B: I lack experience on many things about the game develpment. Especially game design, scoping and coding skills.

C: I did't use time efficiently. Lost a lot of time on useless things

Of course no one cares about the excuses and why would they? What matters is the result. Afterall this is some form of contest.

I don't expect my game to get high ratings obviously but i wanted to submit it anyway so that i didn't throw my days of time and effort down the drain. I am thrilled to participate in a great game jam like this and happy to be a part of the Dungeon Crawler community. I wish good luck to all the participants of the jam!
